Bay Area Real Estate | Technology in Real Estate – Silicon Valley
As a millennial, I’ve grown up with technology. Aside from knowing the Silicon Valley housing market, a large part of my value is leveraging technology. The primary way I market home listings and reach homebuyers is through the internet.
One of the forms I use is Google Adwords, which is a portal that follows you around the internet; it’s a very powerful marketing tool. I still utilize conventional online marketing methods like Zillow and Trulia, but using other forms of technology helps me connect with homebuyers and sellers in a unique way.
When it comes to handling contracts, I also go electronic and use Docusign. Many of my clients live out of the area and have investment properties here. But even those who live nearby find that it’s easier and more convenient to sign electronically. When I have a meeting with a client, I go back home and send all the information electronically.
Although I text and email my clients, I still love face to face contact. I really build lots of relationships that way. In fact, recently I went on a lunch appointment with the women whose home I just sold. We finally got a chance to go to lunch and we had a great time. There are so many great things to do in the Silicon Valley, and this makes it easy for me to connect with buyers and sellers on a more personal level.
The Silicon Valley is pretty much all I know, so this is home. When you feel at home, you are comfortable, and when you feel comfortable you are successful and happy. Because this is my hometown, I love it, am very familiar with the area, and this enables me to be successful with helping clients buy and sell their home on the Peninsula.
