I had a new listing in San Ramon that received 9 offers and went well over the list price of $699,000! The holidays often can be a little quiet, so I was interested to see how interest and open house traffic was going to be after the new year. Based on the open house visitors and the number of offers, 2014 is off to a great start!
The listing was prepped well (staged, cleaned and professionally photographed) and it had many popular upgrades. These factors helped the home appear well online, which ultimately generates interest and a higher sales price with better terms for the seller. I recently took another listing in the neighborhood that is slightly smaller that we are prepping now.
