For Bay Realtor broker and top producer Ray Sharma, superior customer service and tenured success go hand in hand. Entering real estate nearly 17 years ago, his natural knack for the industry immediately illuminated itself, ranking within the top three of the office’s 70+ Realtors within his first year.
Working his way up to top producer by his second year, Ray started off with a bang, and has yet to let up, having recently received the 2013 Grand Centurion Award for highest production.
Ranking second in the Bay Area for units sold, Ray’s genuine, straightforward presence perfectly complements his diverse business background. Founded on over 10 years of business and retail management, Ray brings an unprecedented standard of quality customer service to the table. Between his incredibly responsive communication skills, and his honest consultative advice, Ray knows what factors contribute to a smooth and successful transaction.
“I have a strong background in business management, and I think that experience in customer care and time management make a difference in this industry,” says Ray. While his notable track record serves as a solid foundation, it’s his honest, good-natured approach that leaves a long-lasting impression.
“[My clients] enjoy the honest advice, because I tell them how it is,” he says. “I just try and treat each person the way I’d want to be treated if I was trying to buy or sell a house. That’s the key thing.”
Rooted in integrity, Ray is well known throughout the greater Bay Area, harboring an expansive real estate network from the Tri-Valley region to Berkeley, Fremont and San Francisco.
His diverse market expertise brings sellers a diverse pool of potential buyers, naturally creating desirable multiple offer scenarios. His experiential knowledge also helps the process run smoothly, knowing how to project manage and problem solve accordingly. Ray also has vast experience with relocation clientele, which comes with a compassionate understanding of transition.
Whether the client is looking to sell locally, or needs regional insight on prospective homes, Ray’s clear focus and in-depth neighborhood knowledge make it a win- win for everyone. “People new to the San Francisco Bay Area are naturally unfamiliar with the perks and pockets of each region, so I guide them through all their options, relaying the benefits of each city.”
Known for his attentive nature, Ray listens to clientele, understanding their needs and interests in order to help them find the home that best aligns with their lifestyle. “My buyers like the fact that I guide them through the entire process and make sure they feel 100% comfortable with the overall experience and end result,” says Ray.
While he enjoys advising buyers and sellers, Ray’s favorite part of the job is seeing the delighted first-time buyer with keys in-hand, or the satisfied seller smile as the ‘sold’ sign goes up. “Last week I closed a house in San Ramon, and after buyers received the keys they wanted to take me out for dinner,” Ray says. “Usually it’s the other way around, but I tend to get the offers at the end of the deal, because they’re happy with the experience. That satisfaction makes me feel like I’ve done my job.
When he’s not touring homes, or helping clientele Ray enjoys contributing to the Easter Seals, a local nonprofit, health agency dedicated to helping children and adults with disabilities attain greater independence.
A family man, Ray is the proud father of two grown children. He has a 22-year-old daughter set to graduate this year from UCLA, as well as a 16-year-old son who currently attends California High School. Ray also enjoys spending time with wife of 23 years, whether it’s relaxing or running side-by-side during her marathon trainings. In it for the long haul,
Ray looks forward to many more years of satisfied clientele. “If someone is looking for a specialized, personal experience- someone who can really walk them through the whole process, I’d love to assist them.”
