Dana Green Earns Top Honors Locally and Company-Wide 7 Years in a Row
Why Hyper-Local Real Estate Expertise is Key to Earning Top Lafayette Realtor Honors 7 Years in a Row
Congratulations to Lafayette-based Pacific Union Realtor, Dana Green who closed more than $110 million in Lafayette residential real estate transactions during 2014, three times the transaction volume of any other Lafayette Realtor. This makes Green the uncontested top producing Lafayette Realtor in 2014, an honor she’s held every year since 2008.
Dana was also the recipient of the #1 Pacific Union agent in number of homes sold and the #2 agent in volume for the entire company of 700+ agents Bay Area wide.
“I am so grateful to have a career that I love that allows me to work with so many wonderful Lafayette families,” says Green, a lifelong Lafayette resident and second generation Realtor. “It helps that Lafayette continues to be an increasingly popular place to live, thanks not only to the Lafayette lifestyle, Blue Ribbon public schools and our thriving downtown, but also Lafayette’s easy commute options, including BART.”
The most successful Lamorinda Realtors are those known for 5-star customer service and a deep hyper-local understanding of neighborhoods, property values, buyer expectations, and competitive dynamics, particularly because there is a shortage of existing home inventory and available comparative prices often fail to tell the full story.
Lafayette homebuyers and sellers are extremely self-educated about the Lafayette real estate market and expect much from their Realtors. Pacific Union was keenly aware of all of this back in 2011, when it identified Lafayette as a key Bay Area real estate market.
“When we decided to expand into Lafayette more aggressively, we specifically sought out Dana Green, even before we had Lafayette office space,” says Mark A. McLaughlin. McLaughlin acquired Pacific Union in August 2009 and serves as Chief Executive Officer. “At the time Dana was already Lafayette’s top producer, although not at her current transaction level. We both saw how, by aligning with Pacific Union, Dana could offer additional resources to her clients while also helping anchor our new Lafayette office.”
While the bulk of Green’s business is Lafayette-focused, she often works with Moraga, Orinda, Alamo, and Walnut Creek buyers and sellers, too. In 2014, Green closed 82 transactions for a total value of $141M. This earned Green the 2014 top producing real estate agent honor in both Contra Costa County for the 4th year in a row and in Lamorinda for the 3rd.
“Dana’s results are encouraging on a number of fronts,” says McLaughlin. “We picked the right person for the right market at the right time. This is something we work hard to repeat as we continue to grow our presence within the San Francisco Bay Area and into Tahoe.”
