Their local roots and international network allow them to not only serve Tri-Valley luxury buyers and sellers, but also guide clients through transactions as far away as Italy.
Over the last few years the team has formed business alliances with real estate professionals in 120 countries, helping Tri-Valley sellers garner a global audience.
“We have the resources and relationships to help our luxury sellers promote their listings on a global scale, getting local properties massive exposure and more potential buyers,” says Sophie.
Beyond their international reach, Sophie and Scott offer years of hands on contractual knowledge. While Scott has been in the industry for 19 years, he’s also worked in real estate marketing, and has been a Mortgage Consultant for Wells Fargo.
This breadth of experience contributes to his well-rounded foundation. Sophie complements the team with her entrepreneurial edge. Before entering real estate in 2005, Sophie thrived as AT&T’s technology director for ten years, while simultaneously running her own clothing line. Most recently, Sophie is also a part of the Executive Team of a cutting edge International MLS technology company, Proxio, located in the heart of Silicon Valley.
Since joining forces in January, Scott and Sophie’s clients have benefited from their range of abilities. However, their sellers unanimously love their tried and true negotiation skills. The team not only helps their clients obtain the highest dollar amount, but also knows which details safeguard the seller’s net.
“There are a series of negotiation points, during the transaction that buyers can take advantage of.We work hard to protect our sellers by making sure our contracts are tight from the very beginning.That way our client isn’t compromised later in the transaction,” says Scott.
While their background comes with clear cut benefits, the pair is also known for their unwavering accountability. Sophie and Scott pride themselves on creating realistic expectations, and following through each and every time.
“We make some big commitments to our clients and we deliver on all of them. That could mean doing a mail campaign to create a mega open house, where we get hundreds of people through the front door and raffle off iPads and other creative incentives to create a lot of buzz around the listing,” says Sophie. “We do creative things. We think outside of the box and always deliver the result.”
When they’re not guiding clients through transactions, Scott and Sophie enjoy contributing to the local community. Scott is on the board of the World Transformation Center (WTC), a Pleasanton based charity that provides funds and volunteers for U.S. disasters. Sophie is a Team Captain for Cycle for Survival, an annual event that directly funds lifesaving rare cancer research. She also hosts the International Real Estate Forum, which educates local Realtors on global markets.
During their downtime, the couple enjoys traveling and staying active. Scott and Sophie recently got married in Tuscany, where they spent 3 ½ weeks exploring the region and building relationships that can benefit local buyers looking for vacation properties in the area. Scott spends his leisure time with his 12-year-old daughter, as well as swimming, biking, and paddleboarding. An avid learner, Sophie is learning Italian and also in the process of getting her private pilot’s license.
