Selling Smart With Barbara & Michelle Nagle

mother-daughter team has seen the changing landscape of multiple markets.

“We’ve been able to adapt to the changes of the market and stay successful. That has given us stamina and patience,” says Michelle Nagle.“ We are always looking three steps ahead so, there are no surprises.” 

With over 32 years of successful transactions and industry relationships under her belt, Barbara Nagle formed the base of the renowned partnership back in 1981 upon moving to the Blackhawk area.

After helping her mother with open houses and marketing throughout high school, Michelle took a natural interest in real estate and received her license while attending college at UC Berkeley.

However, the team didn’t come to fruition until Michelle returned from her 7 year stay in Istanbul, Turkey, where she acquired valuable international sales experience.

Since then, the two brokers have merged their talents, bringing Barbara’s exceptional contractual knowledge to Michelle’s cutting edge marketing. As a result, the Nagles have earned a positive reputation for their unwavering integrity and consistent results.

“We are well-respected in the community, because we have excellent follow through and we work well with our colleagues,” says Michelle.

Known for their diligence and multi-faceted client care, Barbara and Michelle make this transitional time for buyers and sellers as stress free as possible. Whether it’s being emotionally available for client concerns, or taking the the familiy’s pantry goods to the Contra Costa Food Bank, the Nagle Team enjoys going the extra mile.

In tune with multi-media marketing, Michelle is always learning a new technological skill, enabling the team to broadcast a home’s beauty in more ways than one.

Whether it’s through personalized listings, videos, or fun, informative video blogs with her dog, Reggie Real Estate, the team utilizes both digital and print mediums to reach a wide array of prospective buyers.

“A big piece of the business has become very technological, so I always keep up with the latest and greatest marketing trends,” says Michelle.

When they’re not advising clients, the Nagles enjoy relaxing with the people and things they love. Barbara, a mother of three, enjoys Sudoku, gardening, and cooking in her free time. She has also been married to her
husband, Kevin, for 49 years.

Michelle is the proud mother of her 19-year-old daughter, Melis, who is attending USC Marshall School of Business. When she’s not walking Reggie, her bull mastiff, Michelle enjoys hitting the ski slopes with her dad, and staying current with business journals.
