Pat Burgess recently received the ” Five Star Award” from Five Star Professional, a research driven company that recognizes outstanding professionals in multiple markets on an annual basis. Five Star relies on customer reviews to identify and award candidates.
When evaluating Realtors, their research team contacts consumers in specific areas to determine those residents who have recently worked with a real estate agent. Consumers who agree to participate in a survey provide the name of the real estate agent and rate that individual based upon integrity, negotiation, closing preparation and more.
Recently, surveys were sent to residents of the San Francisco East Bay area who recently purchased a home over $150,000 (more than 19,500 households) within an 8-month period (July 2012 to March 2013).
The nominees were evaluated using five objectives including client satisfaction rating and a favorable regulatory and complaint history. After reviewing 22,200 agents, the award winners were an elite group — representing less than 7% of the real estate agents in the San Francisco East Bay area.
