Rama migrated from Nairobi, Kenya in 1999. She immigrated with her husband and her two sons.

Rama speaks fluent Hindi, Punjabi and Kiswahili. She has 17+ years of experience working internationally in the Media Business as a Radio Producer as well as Director of Corporate Relations for a Non Profit Ethnic Media advocacy group in San Francisco. She graduated from University of Delhi, with a Masters Degree in Public Health Nutrition.

Some of her interests include refining her culinary skills, entertaining, traveling, technology buff and spending time with her family. San Ramon has been her home since 1999 as she’s watched the growth in population & demographics, increasing business outlets, and flourishing education system grow right before her eyes. The tree-lined streets of this beautiful city, with its lush green hills, picturesque parks & golf courses, and peaceful living have added to the charm of here life which could not be matched anywhere!
