JouJou Chawla holds one of the East Bay’s most impressive resumes. Born in New Delhi, India, JouJou moved to California in 1985 and began working for Blackhawk Properties/Blackhawk Realty that same year. Her passion and love for her career became evident and holds true to this day.
In 1991, she obtained her brokerage license and became co-owner of the company Blackhawk Real Estate. She functioned as CFO of the organization for nearly 10 years. Their company merged with J. Rockcliff in 2008 and has become one of the most powerful companies in Bay Area real estate.
JouJou has said, “Real estate is my passion. I breathe it 24/7.” Her work ethic and dedication is apparent. Known for her negotiation skills, solid work ethic, and strong interpersonal communication, she has taken the real estate world by storm and become the #1 agent in Blackhawk. She sells 1 home every 10 days in that community alone, and her scope does not end there.
Having listings from Livermore to Piedmont, JouJou sold over 100 homes in 2015 and takes pride in helping others with one of the most pivotal decisions in their lives. Her knowledge of the market is extensive, and she is now known as a leader in the industry, having done more than a quarter billion dollars in sales since inception.
