Pat Burgess created an organization called Divorce Angel, an organization designed to help people with practical advice get through this tough transition. Having been through a difficult divorce, Pat promised herself that if she made it through, she would do something positive to help others dealing with the same thing. Divorce Angel is a group of professionals who have come together with the same heart to support people making this transition. They meet on the first Tuesday evening of every month at 5:30 at the Danville Chamber of Commerce. On hand there is an attorney, a therapist, a realtor, a mortgage professional, a cpa, and a financial planner – where else can you find all those resources in one place? Tonights meeting starts at 5:30pm and features special guest, Debbie Choy, a career counselor who specializes in helping people with career redirection.
