Teresa Zocchi | Donation Drive for Kids

I am hosting a donation drive for Volunteers of America, for Foster Children. I am on the Development Committee, and we supply gifts and fun at our Wonderland event every year. There are 900-1000 foster children that attend this event. We set up a “Winter Wonderland” in a warehouse or vacant store, and ages range from newborn to the age of 18. The kids come through to receive what might be their only present and/or celebration during the holidays…..it’s a really wonderful cause….and so much fun to watch the kids walk through happy and excited. I welcome your help, and if you would like to take part please drop items in my office by December 1st. List of items are as follows:

EVENT SUPPLIES LIST 

• 100 30 Gallon Bags Trash Bags
• 10 rolls duck tape (red, white & black)
• 10 rolls of packing tape
• cleaning supplies
• 2000 hand wipes
• 4 large bottles of hand sanitizers
• 1000 mini bottles of water
• 1000 blank holiday cards and envelopes
• childresn’s table and chairs
• polaroid camera film for 1000
• 50 rolls of paper towels
• 500 name badges

Please contact Tamara Earl, Program Director, ASAP if you are interested in supplying any of the items listed. Supplies need to be received by Dec 3rd and gifts items need to be received by Dec 2nd or Dec 12th.
