Being a top-producing real estate agent with a record of consistent performance requires hard work, tenacity, dedication, and a loyal clientele. Susan Bazinett of J. Rockcliff Realtors acknowledges that while these factors all contribute to her consistently earning a place among J. Rockcliff’s President’s Club and being in the top 3-5% of its agents, she also likes to credit her entrepreneurial spirit with her success.
“I like to analyze the market from a financial perspective. I read the Wall Street Journal and consider a variety of economic data to benefit my clients.” Being market savvy and current on economic trends, Susan uses her knowledge to help her clients successfully achieve their real estate goals.
With 22 years in the business, five of them with J. Rockcliff, Susan has a solid knowledge of the market and specializes in Blackhawk, Danville, San Ramon, Alamo, and Diablo. Her background includes terms as President and Vice President of Marketing for the Blackhawk Real Estate Company where she also mentored associate agents. Susan developed a longstanding list of loyal clients who depend on her knowledge, experience, and integrity.
“I am not just selling someone a house,” Susan says, “I am helping them make a solid business decision.” Susan’s clients appreciate her knowledge of the local area, including her ability to intelligently council them on potential resale values, and her skill in finding them their ideal home based upon their needs.
Seller’s benefit from Susan’s creative side, and her innate ability to know how a home should flow, how furniture should be staged, and the best angle for the camera to capture the spirit and potential of each room. “I like seeing the transformation of the properties and how excited my clients get, particularly when they say, ‘Why didn’t I do this sooner?’”
Susan’s success in the industry comes from her genuine care and concern for her client’s well-being. She is available for every home inspection and reads every report. “I have my clients’ backs from beginning to end,” she says, “and sometimes means counseling them against a purchase if I don’t think it’s in their best interest.”
In the end though, it’s always the clients’ decision. In one instance, a client tried several different approaches to solving a problem before following Susan’s advice and came back later to her saying, “Thank you for never saying ‘I told you so. Thank you for allowing us to get to our decision the way we needed to.’”
As a real estate strategist who often seeks advice from a variety of economic sources, Susan realizes that global conditions have affected the economic status of the market. “For every one of my clients, I take the time to learn about them and their needs. I ask them, ‘Do you need to move?’ ‘Do you know what your home is worth?’ ‘Why are you selling?’ I educate them and develop a relationship.”
The connections and relationships that Susan forms with her clients have made her a top- producing agent in the areas she resides and specializes. She brings wisdom, integrity, and experience to the table, along with a worldly knowledge of the trends in real estate.
Susan enjoys traveling nationally and internationally, photography, working out, music of all varieties, and spending time with her parents, brother and sister, and friends. She embraces the saying, “Live in the moment. Enjoy life, and be the best version of yourself.” Susan practices her own mantra by being an active Council Member and Co-Chair of the Auction Committee for the Golden Gate Invitation, an event that is held every year at the Olympic Club in San Francisco and which benefits the American Cancer Society.
