Sip and Swing was a great turn out! The proceeds from this fun filled night directly benefited the Volunteers of America’s Foster a Dream program. Foster a Dream supports local foster youth in the San Francisco Bay Area. Their goal is to support and guide foster youth so that they can have a successful and productive transition into adulthood. They provide many programs and resources that build the hopes, dreams and futures of Bay Area foster children during their stay in the foster care system.
One cause that Foster a Youth is passionate about is their “Wonderland” program. Each holiday 10,000 square feet of holiday festivities is provided through a majestic event that services local foster children. Wonderland relies on the generosity of local volunteers who come together to support the foster children and make the holidays a joyous time.
Currently, Foster a Dream is looking for the ideal location to host this year’s grand holiday event, scheduled to take place the last two weekends of December. The space will be needed from approximately November 1st – December 30th. The actual event is the first two weekends in December and takes about a week to fully clear out the building.
