These days, communication channels are fragmented. There is no “magic bullet” that will reach all potential buyers and sellers. You have to reach different prospects through different channels.
Direct mail marketing, social media, blogging, search engine optimization…I have to use them all in order to communicate effectively with my community as a Realtor.
It takes a multi-channel, multi-media approach to marketing and communication in order to provide my clients with the service they deserve.
Even though many buyers start their home search online, many are either unclear about what they want, or need, in a home. Very often, buyers end up purchasing a home that is different from what they initially set out to buy based on their initial criteria.
What that means is, even though a home I have listed for for sale may be perfect for some specific buyer, there’s no guarantee it’s actually appearing in their search results.
That’s why I take a more proactive, direct and multi-media approach to my marketing.
I’m being hired to introduce my clients’ homes to as many prospective buyers as possible and I’m going to use every tool at my disposal to do that.
