Steve’s success comes from his personal conviction that professionalism and quality customer service are essential in any line of business. Adherence to these basic principles have played a key role in his achievements.

Steve has practiced commercial and residential real estate collectively for over 8 years with an emphasis on real estate investing, and when asked the main reason for his success, Steve’s answer is simple — “standards.” “There is a standard, and regardless of the market you have to stick to it.”Steve is devoted to “doing things the right way” and operates with a strong sense of integrity. Before a house is listed on the market, Steve puts significant time and effort into making sure the home is prepared for showing in order to garner “top dollar.” Steve’s advice, “never put a listing on the market until its done and ready.”

Steve’s business was built, and continues to grow, by concentrating on traditional practices such as direct mailing, walking neighborhoods, and marketing in HomeFolio. Yet, the majority of Steve’s business comes through referrals from previous customers. As he graciously put it, “I take pride in helping my clients understand the financial aspects of their most important investments.” The gratification he receives once they have found their ideal property motivates him to excel. He is sensitive about the “emotional” nature of home purchasing, and takes every necessary precaution to ensure his clients are content.

Steve grew up in Southern California and moved to the Bay Area to attend St. Mary’s College. While at St. Mary’s, he received a BS in Business Administration with an emphasis in economics, and met his wife of 15 years, Shannon. Shannon and Steve are proud, and involved parents to 3 children. Steve says his life revolves around family and real estate. He certainly has his hands full as he works to maintain his position as one of the top Realtors in Contra Costa, and stay involved in his children’s activities. Steve has two boys and a girl ranging from ages 8-12. They currently attend John Baldwin Elementary and Charlotte Wood Middle School in Danville, CA.
