The city of Danville has a lot of local events and activities as we enter into the holiday season. In November Danville is hosting a shopping event, a kids night out and the lighting of the old oak tree – that has come to symbolize Danville itself.
Tonight thursday November 14th from 11-8pm Downtown Danville, the Livery and the Rose Garden Shopping center are all participating in the “Spirit of Danville Holiday Shopping and Dining Event“. Over 80 local merchants and restaurants will be open late offering free wine tasting, hot cider and cookies! Many other treats and goodies will be available too.
Start your holiday shopping off right by shopping local. Don’t miss the free trolley that will take you from downtown to the livery and back! On the same night, Danville is also hosting a kids night out so parents can shop while their kids have fun! Childcare is available from 5:30 to 8:30 at the Danville senior center. Children must be preregistered and full potty trained. Click here for more information. For questions about upcoming events, or to learn more about Danville contact:
