In her 36 years of being in real estate, Lynda Snell has experienced her fair share of the highs and lows that come with the business. She began her career at the urging of her husband who could see the value she could offer clients. Despite starting out during the challenging era of 18% interest rates , Lynda has been a pioneer in the real estate industry. Her hard work, vision and integrity led to her success, and she eventually became one of the founding partners and a former member of the Board of Directors for Village Associates in Orinda.
Jeff comes from a mixture of construction and high-tech experience and was working on his MBA when his mother offered to mentor him as an agent for Village Associates. Jeff’s tech background gives him the skills needed to maximize their listings’ exposure online, leading to more showings, and ultimately higher offers for their clients.

Asked what their most proud of, they say it’s the relationships they’ve built with their associates, clients and community over the course of their 41 years in the area. They concentrate primarily on the central Contra Costa market, Lamorinda, Danville, Alamo, Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek, but also serve the entire county.
Their 41 years living in the area have also given them expert insight into the positive aspects of the different markets they serve, and is a big reason clients come to them. Whether Jeff and Lynda are helping first-time buyers, or former clients looking to downsize or trade-up, their familiarity with the different neighborhoods gives them an edge. “We have the insight and knowledge to best guide our buyers in making smart decisions.”

Lynda adds, “I want other agents to want to work with us. I look at our relationships with our clients as a major success. I enjoy them because, in many cases, they’ve developed into friendships.”
Relationship building is something Jeff and Lynda excel at beyond business too. Their close ties with friends and family enrich both their activities beyond real estate, and their community. In her free time, Lynda enjoys golfing, biking, reading, and traveling. As a devoted husband, and father of two kids, Jeff spends his free time coaching t-ball, basketball, and soccer.
