These days, communication channels are fragmented. There is no “magic bullet” to reach all the people in our community looking for information on home financing issues. You have to reach different people through different channels.

Direct mail marketing, social media, blogging, search engine optimization–I have to use them all in order to communicate effectively with my community as a lender. It takes a multi-channel, multi-media marketing approach to communicate and offer my clients the information they deserve.

There is a lot of information online regarding home finance issues and it can be confusing and difficult research determining what’s needed for each individual’s unique situation. To eliminate confusion, and educate people on the different finance options that may be right for them, I take a more proactive, direct and multi-media approach to reaching people who may need assistance.

That’s why I’m excited to join the elite group of real estate professionals working with HomeFolio Media.

Josephine Chu

Josephine W.K. Chu, CFA, owns and runs JC Financial, an independent real estate and mortgage brokerage. Her goal is to help borrowers realize their dream of home ownership at the lowest possible total cost by establishing a wide range of lender relationships for the best possible loan program. She believes borrowers deserve to have a dedicated advocate to help them navigate the increasingly arduous loan process and is able to pass through her lower costs as an independent broker to borrowers.

Before starting JC Financial, she obtained an MBA with concentration in Analytic Finance and Business Economics from the University of Chicago and spent over 15 years in the investment management industry. She was a portfolio manager with Scudder Kemper Investments, Barclays Global Investors, and a founding partner of two hedge funds. Josephine now enjoys being a mother of 4 children while helping clients achieve their dream of homeownership.
