Between his impressive business background and established local roots Nadr Essabhoy is the kind of Broker you want by your side. The Palo Alto native has represented buyers and sellers through Alain Pinel Realtors for the last 13 years. Named ‘Rookie of the Year’ upon entering the industry, Nadr has developed a formula that blends authentic relationships with astute market knowledge. This combonation has helped him consistently rank in the top 5% of Silicon Valley Realtors since entering the industry.
Introduced to real estate at an early age, Nadr learned the ropes as a teenager while passing out fliers and setting up signs for his father’s open houses. After earning his Bachelor’s in Business from UC Berkeley he worked for commercial real estate company, Cornish and Carey. His appetite for knowledge led him to Dartmouth College, where he received his MBA and worked for a Boston-based management consulting company. After returning to the Bay Area he headed product development for a Mountain View start-up before settling into his passion for residential real estate.
Being a second generation Palo Alto Realtor, Nadr comes with a wealth of local knowledge. Whether it’s deciphering the perfect community for a buyer, or pricing and marketing a home accurately, Nadr’s clients rest at ease, confident in his ability to handle everything from a to z.
“I know the market really well, so it helps my sellers feel confident, because I can get the best value for the home they’re selling,” says Nadr. “I know pricing strategies. I know where things are selling at. I know the marketing aspect of the homes and how we can make a property look its best and market it in a way that will attract the highest number of offers.”
While Nadr has successfully served a wide range of local sellers, he also uses to expertise to help buyers, keeping him tuned into business from both sides of the spectrum. In today’s competitive market Nadr knows the importance of setting realistic expectations by fully informing his buyers.
“Helping today’s buyers means being a counselor 50% of the time and understanding the market incredibly well,” says Nadr. “I level with my clients from the get go, letting them know what their expectations should be and what they’re going to get for their dollar.”
His results-oriented track record and genuine interest in his client’s well-being explains why he often becomes long-time friends with both buyers and sellers. Passionate about his local community Nadr enjoys conducting real estate in an area that’s essentially guaranteed to be a safe investment for years to come.
“I take a lot of pride in what I do and I care about people. I think those qualities have helped me build relationships with my clients that will last for years.”
When he’s not conducting transactions Nadr contributes to the community via the Shelter Network and other various organizations. He is also currently on SILVAR’s Professional Standards Committee.
A proponent of work-life balance, Nadr enjoys spending time with his parents, siblings, five nieces and nephews all of whom reside in the Bay Area. An active individual, Nadr enjoys participating in recreational sports and carving out time for an annual international trip–this year it’s Spain.
